popeyes restaurants
popeyes is the fast food restaurant ,I choose the brand
because it not famous like KFC or Mc Donald
, though this brand has long been in the market the first outlet opening
on Jan 19 (http://www.mfa.org.my/?franchise-news:franchisee-to-open-more-popeyes-outlets:2F52CKK574). I choose this brand because it less promotion
that why this not popular.

Al Copeland
Al Copeland or Alvin Charles (February 2 1944 –
March 23,2008) , His
father left home shortly after Al, the youngest of three brothers, was born.
His mother struggled to provide for them, and a grandmother and great aunt
helped rear them , At 16, he dropped out of high school and got a job as a soda
jerk. Two years later, he opened a Tastee Donut franchise, a gift from his
brothers for the first of his four weddings. Was
an America entrepreneur who crested the popeyes chicken and biscuits .Actually
he is poor boy came from new Orleans he died Sunday in Germany near Munich when
he 64 year old and the causes he died because a malignant salivary gland tumor. His death was announced by his spokeswomen, Kit Wohl.
Mr. Copeland opened his first fried chicken stand
1971 with the chipper slogan ‘ so fast you get your chicken before you get your
chicken ‘but the restaurant failed . So
he add more than a sprinkles of cayenne pepper and a few more secret Cajun
inspired not spices , When
it reopened in 1972, the restaurant was first named Popeyes Mighty Good Fried
Chicken. After 13 months, and the opening of a second store, “mighty good”
became “famous.”His Copeland’s casual restaurant chain, offering New
Orleans-style cuisine, achieved more success. It features several unique
cocktails, including the Crash and Burn — a large cocktail for two to three
people.Mr. Copeland is survived by his sons, Alvin Jr., Christopher, Alex,
Chandler and Chaz; his daughters, Bonnie Copeland, Alisha Copeland, Charlotte
Womac and Cassidy Copeland; and 13 grandchildren.
Where Popeyes gets its name
when we talk about popeyes
the first thing come in our mind is the cartoon character popeyes the sailor .But
the popeyes not come from spinach eating cartoon but it from the hard nosed
film detective popeyes Doyle in ,The French Connection

2008-present
But when I do a research I found many type of popeyes logo and it make me confused where is the real logo for popeyes , So I ask my lecture why they have many logo and my lecture tell because popeyes brand is not consistent so people can change the logo ,it not like McDonald ,example if we want to open new Mc Donad outlet we need to follow all rule and regulation from store design to packaging we must follow but different for popeyes
